Student Council Presidency- 2023 Britannia Secondary School

Why?

As president I speak up and represent those misrepresented or who have experienced racism, adversities and barriers. Last year, I motioned and fundraised over $700 dollars for humanitarian aid in Ukraine; I motioned to facilitate a Covid information table and spoke up in regards to the implementation of SOGI and Indigenous Representative voting process. Fighting for LGBTQIA2+ SOGI representation succesfully resulted in more inclusive representation across the Vancouver district. Running fun events such as october spirit week encourages school spirit is an important way to create a welcoming and foster the Britannia way of Bravery, Responsibility, Integrity and Tenacity.
