As someone who has always faced property. Living in the Vancouver Downtown Eastside in a subsidized housing complex. I was exposed to negative forces such as poverty, food stability and family mental health issues as a result. I won’t stop advocating for important social issues. I want to make an impact on my community and prevent what happened to me from happening to others. I will not stop pursuing my fight for social justice, equity, equality, children's rights to opportunities and resources that could prevent them from going through what I went through, that's what is most important to me. My goal is to change the flawed systems that failed my family and millions of others by pursuing a law degree. In my time at Britannia Secondary school I was enrolled in Venture Mini School program for enriched learning and Grade 11 IB, attaining high 80s and 90s attaining honor roll and principal's list standing since grade 8. Accomplishing participating in 2 science fairs and pathways ‘staying in school award'.
