A nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students succeed in securing scholarships & highlighting 'pillars of the community' in an annual article.
As the Founder of the People's Voice Article I have supported dozen of students secure a half million dollars worth of scholarships included full ride scholarships to their dream university. It is estimated by June 2025 the number will double to $1,000,000. Additionally a special project of the People's Voice Article included documenting the stories of pillars in the community and individuals amazing stories from overcoming hardships to winning awards and impacting thousands of people. I took my experience growing up in the Downtown Eastside, at one point I was homeless raising my three siblings and through my impacts in my community I have been awarded 8 scholarships including two full rides to university, accumulating to $250,000. I believed in me, and now I will believe in you!

Meara Holubowich
Beedie Luminaries Shine Scholarship, full ride scholarship to the University of Victoria
Meara Holubowich is not only an overachiever in Academics but a Semi Professional traditional Ukrainian Dancer. She has incredibly persevere growing up in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, working incredibly and to make ends meet for her family, her academics and her community. Meara is now pursuing her dreams at the University of Victoria in hopes to support systems where young people like her needed food security.

Rassell Labash
Two full ride scholarships to SFU Uggla Family Scholarship, Beedie Luminaries scholarship, and more scholarships accumulating to a quarter of a million. Rassell Labash is currently studying Health Science at Simon Fraser University. Rassell has overcome the war in Syria, becoming a refugee and growing up in Vancouver Downtown Eastside supporting her low-income family. Rassell is a pillar in her community, she has spent thousands of hours giving back to other kids opportunities she fought so hard to recieve.
